This course explores the use of AI in the context of GitHub Copilot, a generative AI tool for developers. It equips users with the knowledge and skills to use Copilot effectively while mitigating potential ethical and operational risks associated with AI usage.
This lab requires users to have their own GitHub account. If they don’t already have one, the lab steps include instructions to help them create it. Additionally, a GitHub Copilot account is required. A free trial of GitHub Copilot is available and sufficient for the duration of this course. Students will be guided through the process of setting up GitHub Copilot as part of the lab instructions. A credit card is required to activate the free trial. Simple, step-by-step guidance is included to walk learners through activating the trial and canceling it before the lab ends, ensuring no charges are incurred.
