Below are some frequently asked questions about the XtremeLabs Marketplace.

Q: How do I create an account? Why should I have an account?

A: After our official launch, organizations can create a new XtremeLabs Marketplace account or use their existing XtremeLabs Partner ID to make purchases. If you have an MPN ID that has been shared with XtremeLabs, we can also use that to automatically create a Marketplace account for you. An account makes it easy for us to automatically create classrooms and share access codes with your organization without further information from you.

Q: How do I make a purchase?

A: Navigate to the page for the product that you wish to purchase. Some labs can be bundled with additional materials such as Cloud Express Pass (CEP), whether you are an individual learner or need to set up a classroom, student courseware, instructor materials, exam vouchers, and training courses. Choose the options that you would like to bundle and then click on “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now.” You can view your cart by clicking on the cart icon at the top right part of the page and then fill out your information.

Q: What happens after I make a purchase? How can I receive my order?

A: Immediately after purchase, you should receive an order confirmation email with the details of your purchase. XtremeLabs will use the contact information from your order to reach out with your order fulfillment details. This may include the access code to a lab, attached documents around courseware or other materials, or a request to schedule your training class. Please make sure that you have email addresses whitelisted so that our emails do not go to your spam or junk mailboxes.

Q: How do I know whether I am an individual learner or need to set up a classroom?

A: You are an individual learner unless you are purchasing for multiple learners and require setup for an instructor. Individual learners who purchase labs will receive an access code. Individual learners do not require classroom access. If you are a learning or training partner, please choose the classroom option and the XtremeLabs team will help you set up a classroom on our platform.

Q: What is Cloud Express Pass (CEP)?

A: Cloud Express Pass (CEP) is a set of credentials for access cloud resources across multiple technology platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). CEP credentials can be bundled and purchased with a lab, in which case the CEP will provide you with access to the cloud resources needed for the exercises within that lab. CEP cloud resources are fully managed, maintained, and supported by the XtremeLabs team. We can only guarantee that CEP will work within the bundled lab environment, as we have policies and restrictions in place.

Q: I would like to purchase an instructor-led training course. How does scheduling for that work?

A: Training can be bundled with a lab purchase or purchased separately. To purchase training with a lab, please go to the lab product page and choose the “Add Training” option. Once we receive your order, a member of the XtremeLabs team will reach out to you to schedule your training.
