GH-200: GitHub Actions

This lab includes MS Learn content which is fully integrated in the account portal and lab environment.

This lab offers a practical guide to leveraging GitHub Actions for automating the software development lifecycle. It covers the fundamental concepts of GitHub Actions, including workflow creation, job configuration, and step implementation, to streamline repetitive tasks like testing and code deployment. Participants will gain hands-on experience in building continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, publishing to GitHub Packages, deploying applications to Microsoft Azure environments, and developing custom JavaScript-based actions. The lab also introduces essential practices for managing GitHub Actions at an enterprise level, focusing on security and efficient resource management. This prepares developers and DevOps engineers to automate, integrate, and deploy code effectively in various IT and security contexts.
