Mr. Abbas is the Chief Executive Officer of XtremeLabs, is an established IT training author and has worked with Fortune 500 companies across the globe on their IT infrastructure needs.
Prior to joining XtremeLabs, Mr. Abbas was the Vice President of Global Services at Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC — a staffing and managed services firm based in McLean, Va. There, he was responsible for developing new and innovative service offerings while leveraging the global delivery model. Prior to DISYS, Mr. Abbas was the Senior Vice President at CSS Corp., responsible for Global Infrastructure Management Services and Cloud Services.
Mr. Abbas has an extensive IT background: he was the Vice President of Managed Hosting Services at Blackboard Inc., the Founder and Managing Director of Grid Technology Partners and has held various senior management positions at Ciena Corporation, Zaffire Inc., UUNet Technologies, and Salomon Brothers. Additionally, he is the author of Grid Computing: A Practical Guide to Technology and Applications, (Charles River Media, 2004), and has been frequently quoted in Business Week, Red Herring, CIO, and other technology publications.
General Manager and Head of Development
Mashhood has worked in the software development industry for over 28 years, within diverse industry sectors including Banking IT, Hospitality Industry, Finance & Accounting ERP and Asset Finance & Insurance with dealer perspective. Mashhood has also worked with a Software Consultancy firm in the Gulf Region as Project Leader managing the support and development of their hospitality and financial ERP products.
Prior to joining XtremeLabs, Mashhood was working with an Australian Software development company as Project Manager for 4 years and later as General Manager for the past 8 years. Being in senior positions for over a decade, he has extensive experience in handling multi-talented staff including development teams, quality assurance and business analyst teams, software architects and deployment resources.
Mashhood holds an MS in Computer Sciences and is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
Head of Product Management
Judy Zhang leads the product team at XtremeLabs, defining the vision, roadmap, and communication strategy behind the core lab product. For the past six years, she has worked closely with customers and key accounts in project management and solution design roles.
Judy is passionate about education and the importance of continuous learning. She has a degree in economics from Harvard College. She is a Certified Scrum Master and an AIPMM Certified Product Manager.
Chief Technology Officer
With over twenty years of experience building education technology software, John has focused on product innovation and engineering. He spent 14 years at Blackboard Inc., helping to develop one of the world’s most deployed and successful learning management system. He served on various IMS Global Learning Consortium Committees including the Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) standards body. He was recognized by IMS Global with the Leadership Award for Learning Information Services work in 2012.
In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Fontaine will focus on product design, user experience and development of industry standards for hands-on learning technology.
Chief Training Officer, Head of Market Development
Mr. Ghazzawi comes to Xtremelabs touting a career marked excellence in IT training development, knowledge market expansion and management. For more than 18 years, he has served in various capacities at Knowlogy Corporation — one of the largest IT Training companies in the U.S. with a significant training and consulting practice in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Kuwait.
As President at Knowlogy for the last 14 years, he lead its transformation from a regional presence to an international one, having won multi-million dollar contracts overseas.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ghazzawi was tasked with transformative business strategy and development within management. He achieved year-over-year success by fostering and utilizing a team approach to sales generation and customer satisfaction.
